gardening in my new digs in zone 6a outside of Boston, MA
Wonderful shot Indie :)
Beautiful! I can never capture any pix of hummers. They're too fast and I'm too slow.
It's difficult! I took this shot of cosmos near the window while I was indoors, which helped.
Aaaaaamazing lens capture!
Awww, so pretty! I miss these little buddies. I haven't seen any for a few days, so I probably won't until next May. :( What is your secret for getting such beautiful hummer shots? Gorgeous!
I haven't seen any for a few days either, so they are probably gone for the season. Hummers are so shy, so I have to take the photos so that they don't really see me. This one was taken from indoors through a window with a zoom lens. There's been quite a few times I've surprised a hummer in the garden where it got quite close to me and I wished I had a photo of it. As soon as they notice me, they zip away!
Awesome picture, I love it! Great photo of a hummer to begin with, but to add the cosmos and have a nice background... perfect!
Thanks! It was so pretty watching the Hummer on the cosmos. So colorful!
Wonderful photo. It expresses the sentiment so well. We will all miss the beauty but I won't miss the work.
Ha, I feel the same way. In some ways, I'm almost ready for snow because it will be a little more relaxing :) (Though just to be clear, not too much snow...)
Amazing photo! We still have some hummers coming by. I hope they all make it down to and across the Gulf OK.
Me too! It would be really great if the same one came back next year, since they are creatures of habit, and brought friends!
Gorgeous! I haven't seen a hummer in the past week, so I think they have finally all made their way south.
Yeah, I haven't seen any in a little while either. Next year!
Fab photo! You must be so sad when they go one their way.
It is rather sad when they all leave. No more till next year!
